eSports are coming alive, ladies and gentlemen – interest is brewing even outside of dark basements and dimly lit PC cafés, more and more people are realising how very spectacular this form of entertainment can be. As I’ve said many times before, these are exciting times.
That is something that Geoff ‘iNcontrol’ Robinson can truly vouch for – as he apart from being a recognised force within Starcraft is also a reality TV-star and looks nothing at all like the common gamer stereotype. In this interview, iNcontrol talks about his experience of taking part in the production of the TV-show ‘Ultimate Gamer’, what it’s like to be a sponsored professional gamer and the future of eSports as he sees it.
Furthermore, he lets us know how and why he intends to go the very top of the Teamliquid Starleague – the without a doubt most fierce and unforgiving battlefield of foreign Starcraft. In a world where professional gaming is becoming more and more accepted, You are still unlikely to ever meet another progamer like iNcontrol, which makes his perspective on eSports all the more interesting.
