Audio interview with Sean ‘Day[9]‘ Plott - Starcraft Guru & eSports Gentleman

by kneff on November 29, 2009

The force is strong among the Plott brothers: eSports are their oxygen and Starcraft is in their blood. Last week, I had the great pleasure of interviewing Nick ‘Tasteless’ Plott - the Ballertoss himself, and now it’s time for his brother in Zerg costume. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you - an interview with Sean ‘Day[9]‘ Plott.

Veterans of Starcraft will be very familiar with Sean and his work, as he has been truly and utterly active within the competitive Starcraft community since the dawn of time, without ever slowing down. In the interview, Day[9] tells us how it all began for him and his brother - and how much they owe to their eSports-mother. He also talks about his motivations behind why he spends so much time and effort in producing top class podcasts and educational live streams - and what a player must do in order to get better at learning.

Teamliquid Starleague Season 2, the legends that are Boxer and YellOw, Starcraft 2 and the future of eSports - these and many more are the topics of this interview, with a true guru of Starcraft. We had a very nice nerd-chat indeed, and I think You will all enjoy it. Click here to download the interview as an mp3 (right click - Save as), or watch below:

How did You find it? Awesome, or long and tedious? Let me know the whys and hows in the comments

I can’t seem to download this as an MP3. It keeps popping up as a 404.

Ah, yes, it was a typo in the code, thank you for bringing it to my attention. The download should work perfectly now, as well as all the other interview-mp3s
